We founded Ascend Injury Law because we know exactly how insurance companies think — because our founder, Kelly-Ann, used to work for them.
Kelly-Ann started her career in insurance defense in 2009. She sat on the other side of the table. She watched how insurers evaluate claims, where they look for weaknesses, and how they decide what to offer — and what to withhold. That experience was invaluable. And she walked away from it to build a firm that fights for the people on the other side.
Before starting Ascend, Kelly-Ann helped build a law firm from the ground up into a multi-million dollar practice. She knows what it takes to run a firm that actually serves clients — not just processes them. That's the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.
Our approach is simple: every person who contacts us gets treated like a human being. Not a case number. Not a file. A person going through one of the hardest moments of their life — deserving of real answers, real communication, and a team genuinely fighting for them.

Outside of the office, Kelly-Ann is an adventurer at heart. She has run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days, traveled to all 50 states, and continuously seeks experiences that challenge comfort zones and redefine what's possible.
